Joseph McKee is a museum professional working at the intersections of art, technology, and collections systems. They bring strong technical expertise across digital platforms, collection management systems, and audiovisual production. Background in Art History and Graphic Design, focused on contemporary and digital art. They develop interdisciplinary collaborations and student-centered initiatives expanding access and interpretation of historical and born-digital objects and collections.
Joseph‘s research investigates digital identity and the connections between emerging technologies, cyberspace, and design. They hold a BA in Art History from the University of New Mexico.
Recently, Joseph has served as a speaker and reviewer for the 2024 - 2026 Association of Academic Museums and Galleries Conference (AAMG), a reviewer for the 2024 and 2025 International Symposium on Electronic Arts (ISEA), and a reviewer for the 2025 Museum Computer Network Conference (MCN).
